Why the hell are you mentioning MJ in this thread? Frank Ocean trying to be like MJ now? That's why he's taken a hiatus?

Nah, he's taken a hiatus cause most straight men/women aren't trying to hear a dude singing that's gay. Unless you are white or Sam Smith.
No I'm giving examples, I could do it from completely different genres. Especially artists whose biggest wish is to have #1 singles or party with Justin Bieber or talk cars with Dj Envy.

The breh had the only "gay song" as the last song on the album for the flabby and sick nikkas and redhead crackers comfort. So you can't complain about that. Just admit that you're homophobic instead of dancing around it trying to sound reasonable :mjlol:

He was a great vocalist in today's climate when he tries to hit those notes. Thinkin bout you, Pink Matter or Pilot Jones.

But that's not always he's objective with his music. Super Rich Kids was one of his best songs and he was basically talking. Just like D'angelo on say Back to Future. This is not basic music for basic listeners, shyts advanced, sorry.
:laff:

Man shut up.

"In Today's Climate"

Today's Climate includes:
Miguel
BJ the Chicago Kid
Timberlake
Janelle Monae
Jazmin Sullivan
The Weeknd
Rico Love
Anderson .Paak

Those are just the people that came to mind...
But who does Frank Ocean 'sing' better than who I just listed?

:mjlol:

Your first post would make more sense if you attacked people for being homophobes but instead you're attacking their musical taste when Frank Ocean was arguably the most popular R&B singer on sohh/the coli for awhile. I was actually on sohh when Nostalgia Ultra dropped and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.

Aside from a few "he's overrated" posters, the trolls who hate on everything, and the R&B purists who couldn't get past how weak his vocals are, majority of sohh/the coli loved it. And when Pyramids dropped his popularity on the coli was at an all-time high, just peep this thread
http://www.thecoli.com/threads/frank-ocean-pyramids-new-hes-back.11292/

Frank Ocean was more popular than the Weeknd with coli posters at this point and I blatantly remember Frank stans constantly shytting on the Weeknd, calling his music gay(how ironic). Frank really didn't start getting a tremendous amount of hate on the coli until people found out he was bi/gay. And most of that was less about people here thinking his music was trash and more about feeling :merchant:that they were vibing and stanning music from a homo. But everything you said about Nostalgia Ultra as far as the music, the majority of the coli would agree with you. It's okay to have an opinion that the majority of the coli would agree with bruh, it doesn't take away from your credibility

Perfect Breakdown.

Dudes started venturing out after Frank came out the closet. And I agree, when he came out, The Weeknd started flying up the charts for a lot of people. I'd go as far as saying that out of all the artists that were out around that time Frank was 'hot' The Weeknd benefited the most after Frank Ocean said he was gay.

be a mod and play dumb, brehs

http://www.thecoli.com/threads/has-...-l-than-frank-ocean-since-he-came-out.253664/

Like I said, I know most of y'all are dying to expose the chinks in SirBiatch's armor rather than discuss music. But don't worry. You'll get me one day :mjlol:

Quote year old posts and play dumb. Your thread implies nikkas are shytting on Frank in present time...which they aren't. Both of those thread also heavily favor Frank but since you didn't read them and went by the OP...I can see why you would end up here.

I said I like your posts but that tag ain't looking so funny in the light anymore.

What makes him not on par with these artists as a singer to you? Range? Writing?
