i like the idea of a movie about it focusing on Will pre- bel air.
we've all seen the show and know how things turn out. we saw him adjust to bel air already.
plus, i'd just be comparing the characters to the show characters. at least Philly Will would only have 2 characters we know, maybe 3 (will, his mom, maybe his dad )

I think they are putting a trailer together to showcase the concept of what they are doing. They are trying to solicit interest from investors and studios to invest in the concept. Hopefully they recast with a bigger budget. You already know they can get Alfonso Ribero and Little Nicky for peanuts.

My issue is I don't want them touching the original using the same concept with a sitcom continuation. I like them taking it in another direction and as a fan of the show they have a lot of source material to touch on that go in more detail particular the fight scene, WIll and his pop's relationship, the one with his mom, episodes like Carlton and Will getting pulled over and locked up, doing drugs, etc...
