I'm getting sick of being called this... wtf is it? I'm not into politics, I don't give a fukk about the government, I don't vote. What makes me a liberal? I'm just one of those people who don't give a fukk... about anything to do with the government or it's politics. When people complain to me about Obama I just give them the :yeshrug: and tell I don't know shyt about shyt. They would say well that's cuz you're a liberal. :dwillhuh:

How the fukk am I labeled something I don't know means?

I give the :camby: and keep it moving. They get mad and pretty much never talk to me again.

Sorry just curious about this liberal shyt...

Man fukk google. I don't want to computerized definition. I want a legit genuine definition from a ordinary human. Non contributing ass nikkas
Dude said a "computerized definition." :russ:

In modern American political context, there's general the liberal (left) side of the debate and the conservative (right) side on social and economic issues.

As far as social issues, liberal often refers to placing an emphasis on the rights of minorities and people felt to be historically disprivileged...blacks and other minorities, gays, women. Liberals tend to be less puritanical and traditional on family/sexual issues. Liberals tend to favor abortion rights, while conservatives oppose legalized abortion.

On economic issues, liberals tend to favor the ideas of John Maynard Keynes more, or are often more sympathetic to socialist ideas. They tend to view government as being necessary to intervene when the economy as a whole isn't serving the needs of the people in their estimation. So government programs like social security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment insurance, stimulus, taxing and spending on those and other government programs is what liberals tend to to favor, whereas conservatives see government intervention as a bad thing and say it's better to let the economy run its course without government interference.

You don't have to be a liberal or a conservative on every issue, and often people find themselves as liberal on social issues and conservative on economic issues or vice versa. And that description I gave was very general.
