Pretty much everyone who posted on GAF during 2011 and before have noticed that the site has gone downhill in a major way (myself included). The secret is to stick to posting in community threads since that's where the actual discussion is. Everything else is white noise.

Echoing Prof. Beef's statements here. NeoGAF has some good eggs and if you stick to the community thread and away from Off Topic it's a pretty decent little forum. Mods are suspect, and there's some fukkass racists who always seem to slip under the radar....but ay, I got banned like months ago.
Can't condemn all of GAF (cause if I did I'd also have to call you Coli nikkas some fukkasses too), but man...that shyt drains the optimism out of your soul.
Its funny to me that the Off Topic section tries to pride itself on being open to everyone and a home for serious discussion on issues yet posting there is the easiest way to get your account banned. And basically all you have to do is disagree with the hive mind and you are gone.
I would get banned and just make a new account. But after the last time i was banned i just called it quits. I was banned because i was in a topic about cyber privacy as it pertained to nude pictures ( THIS WAS 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE FAPPENING). I said if you take nude pictures they are going to be shared, point blank period and all you people acting high and mighty about privacy would be the first ones to look at some Katy Perry nudes if they dropped. I was banned for that.
2 weeks later the fappening happened and i lurk on the board and exactly what i said would happen did happen. Everyone who said there was no way they would view someones private nudes were all up in the thread on some "Yeah i looked but i think this whole situation is wrong and disgusting".
So i just lurk in the gaming forum looking at news, because if you are black and straight there is no way you can post there without being banned.

Is it fair to call the Black mod Bish a c00n? I would've been banning posters left & right in that thread for the Video Game Awards that took place in December 2013 with all the slick racist shyt that they were saying.
