Is it safe to say that? if not, then what song is more influential?

not to say they equal because the drummer would be sampled by other acts outside of the east coast(same is the case withh Funky Worm)
and is obviously plays a more pioneer role

But its breakbeat impact mainly impacts breakbeat hip hop which is more so acted by east coast.

And the funky worm became the corpse which The west built one of its most popular sounds from(Gfunk)

and is one of the most if not, seemingly the most sampled song for this subgenre and heavily so by west coast artist

espescially with @0:49-1:08 which is synonymous with West coast rap as a breakbeat is with east coast rap.

I've always looked at it as such of it being the west coast's funky drummer to the western sound. the instrumentaion in the song is sampled so heavily and popularized due to the 90s west coast dominance that its synonymously asscoiated to the west

when you mention west coast rap they think of the synths from this song. That and some George Clinton. But i feel like the instrumentaion espescially @0:49 is what most people think of.

I seen some people say and talk about parliament and funkadelics is the foundation of west coast hip hop, which they are not wrong.

but i notice that in the midst of talks, ohio players and this song isnt mention which i find weird. cause to me it is prolly the most influential track for the west.
