Why, because I dont know a single Black person that was molested by some man at 14..
If you got violated and that was your reality..guess what, that is not everyone else's reality.

You mean to tell me that just because you personally don’t know anyone who has been sexually abused as minor that it means the problem doesn’t exist in our community? Especially our young black girls being raised by single mothers bringing predators uncle tyrone, nate and henry in at all times of day to fukk and allow around their blossoming young daughters? Who take advantage of them sexually, often times not being believed by family and then carrying that same trauma into adulthood? Or what our young soldiers losing their virginity to 20-30 year old cougars effectively turning them into sex addicts. What about the history of sexual abuse that leads to young nikkas being turned out by perverts under the guise of a doting father figure. Keeping your head in the sand screaming ‘issa white man issue’ will only hurt the affected who grow up to be dysfunctional adults. You’re a clown breh.. nun more nun less

I'm saying don't suggest this is a common occurrence in Black communities. Do we have molesters, yes. Are they prevalent like in the White culture where practically every male is a predator, no!

Some practices are more aligned to some cultures more than others.

hmm.. I think it's my verbiage that's causing the misunderstanding, so I'll attempt to clarify.

"don't suggest this is a common occurrence in Black communities." - I didn't say that it was a common occurence, I said that it is a common elephant in the room. Elephant is just a metaphor to describe an umbrella of topics, discussions and issues that we don't want to acknowledge or address simply because it's taboo or embarrassing or generally causes a lot of division/drama.. among all these things sexual abuse of our youth by the sick mfs present in our community is probably one of the more common elephants that a lot of us sometimes ignore or shove under the table for dumb reasons like 'keeping the peace' or 'what happens in this house ain't nobody else business'. To deny that it's one of those 'hush hush' topics that we tend to glaze over is disingenuous at the very least, breh..

"Are they prevalent like in the White culture where practically every male is a predator" - I never even made the comparison or tried to correlate the prominence of molestation in the dominant society with what we deal with, nor do I care about them having to deal with it more than us.. Just because the issue is a lot more widespread in white communities doesn't make it any less of a common unspoken problem that our community faces as well and because of this it should be addressed as such. Blessings, breh!

care to

point out the lie..

The fact that he had to put "black community" when we all know cacs are the leaders at this, sounds like more agenda shyt going on.

There was no reason to specifically target black men. Now they'll have him all over the media to talk about his story and throw dirt on black men at the same time.

shyt crazy how a 14 year old nikka letting some man molest them. Too many kitchen knives around a house to let some shyt like that go down. We had this child molester/old fakkit on our street . nikka luring kids around that age over by offering video games and shyt. One kid claimed the gay dude was his pops. Years later i looked back and was like :sas2:

We had one in my hood and we kept breaking in his house and ransacking it until he moved.

Man he was 14 not 4 nothing brave about this, that's old enough to know the difference between right or wrong, gay or straight and tell a man gtfoh the first time he asks about your dikk, unless he was held at gunpoint he has no excuse smh.
I agree. At 14, I was shy and loved women while knowing what a homo was but not young enough to be that naive. I can relate more to Common's story though.

“The fact that he had to put "black community" - Brother if I’m not mistaken (I read Hosea’s confession again) he didn’t say anything specifically about the black community in his post

“There was no reason to specifically target black men.” - hosea only said it was his ‘friend’s father’ the only other discriptive words used to describe the guy was ‘rapist, predator and pedophile’ ..Did he even mention black man at all ? Seems like more of an assertion that we made as readers, no?
