She aged pretty well for a lightskin chick. With her body and looks, she can easily find some rich simp and stop worrying about music again.
R&B in its pure has been dead for close to a decade now.
Agreed. She came out at the right time and had some good people affiliated with her as well. I'm kinda surprised she isnt still smashing the game though esp since thickness is in these daystrue but i think she was better than tinashe
mya had some talent. not the best or even great singer but far from the worst and she actually had some great and hit songs unlike tinashe
however mya had enough of lil bit of everythin' to make it in the game and it worked for a moment in time. but she should still be in this game doin' her thing on a mainstream platform. no reason why other than her just not wantin' that platform why she shouldn't be winnin' big in this game right now
somewhere like right after 2003, mya got lost in the shuffle in time and never was able to really regroup from that time
she peaked at "Fear of Flying" which was super dope and outside the first single, went unnoticed. I still listen to it from time to time.true but it's evident she got a passion for it because she stayed puttin' out new music![]()

she even did her thing to the pharcyde's "runnin'" beat
bought Mood Ring off the strength of FoF....shyt was trash bin status. Even the joint with Sean Paul was forced.yeah, and she even did ok with mood ring but it was like after that, it was a wrap![]()
