yall in here joking but im genuinely concerned for Geoff's safety if there's any xbots in the front row. they might take master chiefs words seriously and come out with a bunch of green tuxedos, sticky grenades and masks on to "finish the fight".

these gamers relish in chaos and misery and they done already made it a running joke to pop up onstage. he better have security locked in like those sign language translators off the side of the stage.

I’m 100% sure they beefed up security this year. They aren’t going to get celebrities and big industry people to come to the show after the past two incidents otherwise

They had Todd Howard shook on stage last summer, he looked like one of his NPC’s

Hogwarts Legacy was one my favorite games and a very solid game but I don't think it was better than any other game on the GOTY list. This is just a very good year. Do I think it's possible that the 120 reviewers didn't want to put it in any category? Maybe, but the competition was just great all around. I am not sure which category it should have been in. I think it also got punished because of how early it came out, everyone's memory is short and in such a strong year, its easy to forget early games.

Resident evil 4 shouldn't even be eligible, and it's not really an action adventure game.

It would be a toss up between jedi survivor and HL imo. I feel like HL had a bigger impact at release.

Loved both Baldur's gate 3 and Alan Wake 2. But my personal preference goes to Alan Wake 2 never experienced a story like that since twin peaks and this is even stranger. Still thinking about the lore and story a few days after.

Hogwarts Legacy may end up being the top selling videogame of 2023 and gets no love at the Game Awards due to the politics of an author who made zero contributions to the game. Alan Wake 2 benefits from recency bias. RE4 being on the list is just complete nonsense. Zelda and Mario games always get a free nominations, so no point even arguing merit. I've always found the Game Awards nothing more than a show to watch trailers, even when it was hosted by Spike TV.

BG3?=One of the Best Games Ever

Phantom Liberty= Incredible
Armored Core=Amazing
Alan Wake 2= Incredible
Mario= Great

We'd be lucky to get 2 games of this level in 1 year nevermind 10 plus. What planet am I on?
