There wasn’t that much hype for this one. The 2d Zelda’s don’t carry the same clout as 3d and you couldn’t play as Link.
it might get in because after the first 3 noms (Metaphor, Astro, Rebirth) the last 3 spots are kind of up for grabs.

I know no one wants to hear this but theres a real possibility the JRPG vote will get split between Metaphor and Rebirth

In for the meltdown when or if Wokong doesn’t get nominated for GOTY 
Meaning that who wins? I've played enough of Metaphor to know it's a damn good game. Better than any JRPG not named FF7 that came out this year.
