DMX was
recently accused of robbing a 21-year-old at a Newark, New Jersey, gas station last weekend, but he's denying it all, and is blaming the devil in the process.
The "Party Up" rapper believes that evil forces are working to bring him down, but he says he's got God on his side.
TMZ caught up with the emcee to inquire about the claims, to which he gave an interesting response.

"I do not recall the incident to which you are referring to," he said before letting out a brief chuckle. "If I'd of did it, you'd of known about it."
When asked if he would be on the surveillance footage at the Exxon gas station where it all went down, DMX said, "I wouldn't even be on the camera though. We stopped at a gas station. I don't recall any incident happening."
He ended his explanation and further attempted to solidify his innocence by claiming that the devil is trying to destroy him, quoting a scripture in the process: "The harder the devil works at trying to destroy me, it's because I'm special to God," he said. "So, not that I look forward to these problems, but I face them knowing that the word says, 'No weapon formed against me shall prosper.'"
The victim accuses DMX and his entourage of robbing him of $3,200 in cash while holding him at gunpoint. An investigation on the incident is currently in progress.
