U should care how music u like sell. Because the artist usually continues to make that type of music. And tbh all I said was he missed out on a opportunity to sell more records than usual

Sales dont matter to me when you're 20 years into the game. We wouldn't have gotten Magic by Nas if he cared about sales. Game shouldn't be chasing sales either with these Moneybagg Yo records, cause he sound better next to Ransom and Rome Streetz.

And you right he missed his moment earlier this year but we wouldn't get any of the DJ Paul records if he dropped then. He worked with Just Blaze since then too.

Not saying this album was gon be successful or nothing. But this album has to be one of biggest misfires ever in hiphop. Game had spotlight on him with the super bowl fiasco, drink champs, and a Kanye record but no album smh
He needs new management. Wack100 got too much fukkery going on

Game is always dope with Cool & Dre and Swizz. And I'll always take more music, than less. Not like this album is going to win any awards, even if it was on the level of Illmatic.

Kanye changed the whole direction of this album. Not just from the success of Eazy, but the type of shyt they were recording versus what Game did with Hit-boy:

0:30 to 1:15 are 3 different Kanye features on the album, aside from Eazy.

Whoo kid played the beat to the first one (Hit-boy) when he previewed the album, its the one where his drop comes in:

You not making any sense. Direction changed because of easy? Kanye came in because of the hype hit-boy was creating. He didn't change the direction he embraced what was already happening. So did others.

Nah Kanye and Mike Dean changed the beat for Eazy.

You can see from the snippets I posted that the stuff Kanye and Game was working on sounds very mainstream versus the stuff Game was working on with Hit-boy sounding closer to Kings Disease type of production.

All the studio sessions with rappers like Moneybagg Yo, Roddy Ricch, Fivio Foreign, Quavo, etc started after Kanye got involved.

Mainstream vs kings disease ish?

:dwillhuh:

Hit-boy does mainstream music. He had a ton of mainstream hits last year... was producer of the year. Assuming people showed up to the studio because Kanye went? Hit-boy studio is a buzzing and popular destination.

I'm sure you can find snippets of the music Game and Hit were making somewhere in this thread.
