1). Kendrick is NOT directly signed to Dre. Kendrick isn’t an Aftermath artist and never has been. Kendrick is on Interscope, at first through TDE and now PG Lang
2). “Fear mongering” and Common Sense are not mutually exclusive. If Game himself says he’s a live wire and unpredictable, why in the fukk would someone as meticulous and reserved as Dre risk having on the SUPER BOWL HALF TIME SHOW. The BIGGEST televised event of the year. For all of his trolling, 50 Cent has NEVER put himself in any issue that effects the bag. Eminem is Eminem, he’s the great Cac hope, we all know why he was included. Kendrick is a professional. Mary J Blige is a professional. Snoop is a professional. You know they not gonna do shyt to fukk up the bag before that performance. Game by his own admission ain’t promising to even be a PROFESSIONAL. Which means he’s not worth the potential headache. PERIOD. And the fact you used the Donda 2 performance just highlights my point that Kanye, who is just as much a headache and troll, would take the chance, but Dre hasn’t been in that type of space for going on TWENTY YEARS now.
3). Dre don’t owe Game no phone calls lol. The lineup is the lineup. It was Dre’s show and we’re keeping it funky, Game is a minor part of Dr Dre’s story when it comes to the list of artists and acts that theoretically COULD have been part of the performance. Game has made more noise as an artist WITHOUT Dr Dre’s involvement than with it. And we as fans tend to get a little too caught up in these artists relationships like they really close when in reality its more business than friendship. Dre never really acknowledged Game as more than a supremely talented artist that he made music with. We should have all seen the writing on the wall when Dre cut off Game after the G-Unit beef. Fifty straight up said “If Dre produces on Game’s album then we got beef” and Dre stepped to the side. Thats not somebody you realistically expect to hit you 15 years later to consult you on HIS headlining Super Bowl performance lol.
1. Doesn't matter. Its still well understood by everyone that Kendrick is Dre's artist. Interscope / Aftermath is all linked back to Dre and Jimmy.
2. Game was speaking on how he's perceived by the general public, he wasn't making any declarations on his own character that he's some unreliable wild card lol. And this was open to interpretation too because he could have been referencing how hes linked to so many controversies that would hurt his mainstream appeal.
And, you're either being disingenuous or youre lacking information, because we all seen 50 get banned from the BET Awards and Summer Jam (twice) for his antics during his performances. So wym he's never put himself in any issue that effects the bag? He literally airs out STARZ on social media once every few months. Everything Game is doing lately with these controversial hot takes - 50 literally does every day on social media.
Either way, 50 and Game have done festivals together too, obviously different time slots tho.
3. This whole point demonstrates that you really got no idea what youre talking about. Respectfully - cause I fw with your posts on this site.
Dre DID send Game beats after the G-Unit beef for LAX, and 50 DID get mad at Dre for that. Those songs ended up on the Purp & Patron tape. Talib Kweli and Game even speak on this during their interview for Born 2 Rap.
We literally seen Game and Dre together more than Dre and Em / 50 / Kendrick in the last 10 years. Game brought him out at multiple shows and events. Dre had Game on Compton, and Game had Dre on RED, Doc 2, and Born 2 Rap. Theres even an interview with Power 106 for Born 2 Rap where they ask Game to call Dre on air and he does it.
idk how you think they havent been in touch for 15 years lol. I guess you not really a fan of Game or Dre like that.
