Everyone likes to says The Documentary is classic, but it's not. The Game was the only one who was it a classic at the time, and it eventually led to other people believing it.
The singles were the only good thing about the album. How We Do, Put You On The Game, Hate It Or Love It, etc but the rest of the album doesn't hold up. People are also fooled by it being an aftermath debut, Eminem, 50 Cent features, Dre production, etc.
It really just doesn't hold up as an overall good album, 50's hooks is what made the album what it is, nobody would have cares for this album without that + Dre production.
Every other Game project is predictable.
Here's how a typical Game album would sound like: mentions of Dr Dre track, Dre beats, smoking the chronic, riding in a 64, Eazy E, black Slim Shady, best in the West Coast, fukk G-Unit, fukk 50 Cent, *4 songs later in the album*, I love G-Unit, 30 name drops, etc
That's basically why none of his album are classic except JP. It's classic because it has the best production, good hooks, cohesive sound, concept is or together well.
