I didn't say anything about comparing it to illmatic. I said that just because today's music isn't up to par with music from the recent past doesn't mean that you should lower the bar to give props. You can like Game's album all you want but it isn't a classic. Adding "modern day" to it doesn't make that claim valid either. It's just not a classic.
