I feel you breh. fukk this degree; it ain't worth it.
Finding out that employers (along with your Parents) don't find "18th Century Lithuanian Literature" as compelling/fascinating as you do is just a kick in the nuts

I feel you breh. fukk this degree; it ain't worth it.
That's an expensive punch.
you don't go to war with the cops... he knew he was about to lose that... why pay a lawyer 100k to settle for 50k... just pay 100kGame should have hired a lawyer. I strongly doubt he couldn't afford to. He wouldn't even have had to be there, just throw a few figures at a civil defense lawyer and lay low for a little while. Maybe even negotiate a smaller settlement outside of court.
If you read the article he didn't respond to the lawsuit at all.

seeing how neither one of us has a case file or the game's number to call him.... this whole damn thread is assumptionsFirst of all, why do you assume every lawyer is charging 100K? And how do you know the case even gets to trial/the settlement stage with a good lawyer? A couple of uninformed assumptions in this post.
better off paying 100k instead of sitting in jail for a few years, Game with the W.

but i'm going to ASSUME that he knew he was being sued
i'm going to ASSUME he has a lawyer or could afford one
the fact he didn't fight and didn't pay a lawyer to fight.......... leads me to ASSUME that wasn't the best financial option at the time
sue me![]()
thats really fukking weirdGame should have hired a lawyer. I strongly doubt he couldn't afford to. He wouldn't even have had to be there, just throw a few figures at a civil defense lawyer and lay low for a little while. Maybe even negotiate a smaller settlement outside of court.

and what are you basing yours on kind sir?Game with the W for what? This is a civil dispute and doesn't preclude criminal action against him. There is nothing smart about what he did in this case, there is nothing to prevent the state from filing criminal charges if they have sufficient evidence.
Thats a pretty nebulous line of logic to base your assumption on.
