And I love how people bring up album quality to excuse sales . The niccas on major labels release albums to sell they aren't just releasing them for their fans enjoyment or they'd release a Mixtape . When its anyone but 50 or Nikki excuses galore are copped for artists they like people do know he has a album budget he must pay for some features and beats everyone isn't giving him things for free . What the other artists don't want to make money ? Give it back to the label ? Smh

Okay dumbdumbs, let me sum of the common sense

Strong fanbase, definitely not much support from label - last album with the label, he should consider going independent or joining forces with Snoop Dogg.

Matter of fact, Snoop Dogg, Game, DJ Quik and Suga Free would make a marvelous team - just throwing that out there.

Tons of features on this album, he's probably not going to recoupe anytime soon but he obviously did not care about exhausting his budget . . a sign of someone giving the music all that they have.

Not every album is doing good numbers... and people have to stop accepting that. Before you know it, by the end of 2013, we'll be saying "Hey, he sold 40k first week which is good in this climate." What???

And that no one sells anymore schtick is tired. Rappers just don't sell anymore but from '01-'09, they ran the top of every top sellers list. The mainstream buyers just aren't that excited with rap music anymore. Because quite a few artists are still going platinum this year. Tell rappers to step their game up.

Mainstream buyers, after gangsta rap got cliche, got tired of it cause it was too damn predictable and repetitive. Now cats who go gold is like going 3x platinum 10 years ago.

Kinda like the job market analogy where 50k 10 years ago meant that you fine , but now a 50k job makes people go

Standards are getting lower and lower.
