Biggies movie just didn't have good movie maker behind it... i enjoyed it out of nostalgia but it definitely didn't feel authentic and didn't have that grade A effort

I always looked at that movie and felt like something was missing.

These type of movies are just hard to make because of unrealistic expectations. No actor can ever truly recreate Pac or Biggie. Denzel Washington was amazing as Malcolm X but I'm sure if we looked hard enough we could find someone who wasn't satisfied. For what it's worth I like Notorious, Derek Luke and Naturi Naughton were great as Puff and Kim.

I hope he's right I hated Notorious & not because of Natauri Naughton as Lil Kim. I hated it cause the movie overall was ass. And Marc John Jeffries ( Isaiah from Losing Isaiah) was a terrible Lil Cease. When it comes to people being portrayed by actors who look nothing like them I try not to hold it too hard against them. If hey can act I can see beyond that. I always use 42 & Get On Up as my prime examples. He looks nothing like the two but it wasn't til the end of Get On Up that I realized James Brown is a short man. If you can act, you can act. You can make the audience see beyond your look.

As they should. Any movie about pac should be a documentary and if it's a biopic you'd think they'd spend 5 years nailing it down to make it right. I said in another thread a few months back that a Netflix "Narcos" style series would better do justice for Pac. Give it 4 seasons, 10 episodes a season and start from the Panther days of Afeni all the way to Vegas. Everything else in the middle would be must see tv

IMO a better topic for a Narcos-style series would be the rise and fall of Death Row. Amazing that hasn't been fictionalized as an entire series.
