Hilarious that y’all will shove an artist no one mentioned into a conversation in order to maintain an ideological echo chamber of opinions you agree with.
I think I’ve quoted you twice about this topic particularly your post about 2Pac being an LA rapper and this is the post you decided to respond to…. Smh.

His top 10 is better than I was expecting it to be

It falls apart when he has YG over Suga Free or YG over anyone and also not having Suga Free in the top 10

and a cookie cutter formulaic album filled with premade tracks for him to fit his recently developed character into …. The most literal Mr potato head that rap has ever seen

Previous experience included live adult performance, running with Diddy, being close with Diddy, being a live adult performer

And with no buzz or any product that led to any name for himself he is just put onto development deal with years of development

That’s is more than plant, that is root vegetable Mr potato head plant where you can probably dig up some strange origin stories

just think of that career trajectory, it’s seriously incredible

Male stripper, development deal rapper, large debut as a mainstream rapper under the most legendary and notable music producer of the genre and of our time, right after 2001 … about the same time …

No, shyts weird and looks funny in the light. Him putting himself above Suga Free

He’s above YG,

As an entity his impact will never be Eazy-Es and he could even be likened to a tribute act of Eazy-E honestly

He was more famous than Xzibit … but was he ever better than Xzibit, who was like a real LA street rapper OG backpack before the backpack lane was cool kind of thing

Tyler the Creator has surpassed him in movement catalog, and creativity by a mile

He was basically cast to play the role of the next Dr. Dre and company cast member and he fukked up the bag being too big for his bridges and ruined the G-Unit movement and 50 Cent fall off can even be attributed to the amount that went into Game which was suppose to pay off via the brand synergy that would’ve been created with the top rappers of each coast being under the same umbrella and likely touring together

They pushed Bishop Lamont out of the way to let Game have this role

And he fukked it upb

But with all that ain’t no other male stripper you can point to that parlayed all of this into his life. For that he has gotta be in the male stripper hall of fame :dame:

This is 100% pure raw uncut hate

That’s fair. To your initial quote, I think that 2Pac’s DNA as an artist is influenced by the Bay more, especially with his Panther parental upbringing and Digital Underground tutelage early on.

However, I’d argue only Snoop as a rapper is more synonymous with LA than Pac. My conflict comes with Complex having no intention of ever doing a top Oakland rapper list, or East Coast rapper list for PAC featured on…

It’s selectively omitting him entirely, because their entire premise isn‘t based on them trying to start a real dialogue, it’s ‘content’ meant to push narratives via manufactured accolades.

Is Kurupt on the list? If Doja got a problem with Ice-T he needs to have a problem with Kurupt as well.

See this is what I'm talking about

He had a problem with Ice-T being on the top 10 because he's not from LA but he put Pennsylvania Kurupt on it. And Xzibit lol.
