No reason whatsoever that he should have even been in the game at that point.
Far from the first time a star has been in with a 10-12 point lead and 90 seconds left :manny:. Considering it was a non contact play where it popped on a hopstep landing, who knows how close he was to that injury anyway? For all we know, it may have happened the next practice if it was that close.

I wanna see the timeline if he never got injured... Feels like we are in the darkest timeline of never getting to see a healthy Prime Rose, Super Team dominating, and etc.

If Thibs wasnt the coach, Rose mighta had another 1-2 good yrs but after that :francis:He wasnt making it in his mid 20s uninjured..
Thats just logic.I don't believe in that "if he never got injured shyt" that mfs be pushing.
It wouldn't happen at that exact moment but it was eventually gone happen.
Its Thibs and the FO fault(Yall keeping leaving out that FO)..Cuzzo was injuried already but they rushed him back for the playoffs..
He should've been sidelined in a Suit..

It is what it is....Life moves on...

300 murders a year
Was on the road heading out of town listening to the game on the radio.

Damn near killed my family trying to pull up the Internet and read what was going on as they announced rose was down. Those first few hours you just hoping it's a sprain then when they announced it was his acl my entire heart fell. Depression took over, one of the worst moments I experienced as a sports fan.

Bulls really messed up after that as well. Should have tanked that next year. Possibly could have added olidipo or otto porter, or maybe we scout well and add cj mccullum or giannis. Already had Jimmy in the fold. Rose , Jimmy olidipo would have been a nice trio.

It's not Thibbs' fault

"Why was he in the game?" is something you say when a star goes down on a freak accident, someone crashes into his leg, etc. Something avoidable by not being in that unimportant situation. You can put that on the coach.

This was another non-contact injury that was simply a result of the fact that Rose's style of play was unsustainable with his body. If one more hopstep made his knee explode, then it was gonna happen regardless. You could see all the little injuries piling up, and that causes more injury. That's just a result of a guy whose playstyle and DNA makeup combined to burn brightly but burn out fast.

He was never going to be able to play that herky-jerky, super explosive game and have a long, healthy career. Doesn't matter who the coach was.

I never knew the score during this situation

They had this man out there, the whole offense, out in a double digit asswhooping

Thibs should be exiled from the L
