I'm not really feeling the 'limited subject matter' angle either.

Even if that's the case (I don't think so), how does that actually take away from the actual quality of the album?

shyts hard like Games other albums...better than the last one though from what i remember...

at first it started off sounding like some Back to the 90s shyt with all the blatant rips of old rap joints but midway thru the sound switched up a little. Game is good. He doesnt have much personality of his own, but he's good at sounding good with other people.

It leaves little to be discussed about.

Take Kendrick's TPAB thread for example...(there's already enough nikkas on his dikk, but I'm use him as an example :pachaha:)

The reason his thread did numbers like that ain't just cause he's a big rapper (Drake's bigger, his threads don't last that long), people thoroughly discuss the material Kendrick brings to the table.

There's discussion about the storytelling, double layered concepts behind individual songs, how it all ties together, what he's talking about in this song, etc.

Game got some dope songs on here but only a few standout, in huge part by production. Like dude above just said, Jayceon ain't got much personality/originality to go off of, but he's good at rapping.

Agreed. It's Game's rapping and the production/beats/songwriting that make this album. There's very little there in terms of lyrics and that's always been Game's weakness. He's a great MC, his rhymes is crazy (word play/punches) but he just doesn't have any depth in his lyrics. Maybe cus he doesn't have much to say about himself. That's why when he's given a subject to rap about (Sean Bell, dissing G-Unit, etc. ) the lyrics are dope.

If Game had Nas's lyricism, he'd be top 25 rappers of all time. Without it, he's still top 50, but not top of the top.
