Kendrick intentionally makes his music very coded and palatable for critics. Critics are often tastemakers for the average listener.

Meanwhile Game's bullshyt and antics deter critics from his music - which often leave him overlooked by the average listener.

True but these other guys probably grew up with Kendrick and might’ve never witnessed Game’s come up on the mixtape circuit. I’ve seen it first hand with the tapes all over the piece when he was buzzing. I still got some of those tapes today.

He creates great music from an objective standpoint — that’s the difference. It isn’t his fault that he has a deeper understanding of more complex musical ideas. Elitists with musical knowledge naturally appreciate and respect his art, because it’s essentially beyond criticism from a purely musical angle.

And you know how we call that? Talent.

There’s no such thing as Game being overlooked — he’s simply nowhere near Kendrick’s level. Kendrick is the better artist and makes better music, plain and simple. So regardless of the type of music you personally listen to, Kendrick deserves more respect than Game.

I've never seen a narrative or fanbase sustain itself off one album (debut) and one moment (One Blood) like this dude. If not for being a sex pest he could have had a really comfortable life living off that shyt. Instead he's a sex pest in bankruptcy for not going to a simple court hearing.
