All I’m a say about 4:44... it’s amazing how the great moments on that album, and Jay’s openness, overshadow how bad HIS flow was in spots, and some of the meh-ass moments overall.
Its was a good album, but an overal snooze fest.

I have had no desire to relisten to that joint since its come out.

I'll be jamming this Nas for the next 10 years easy.

Nas is just a better rapper man.. still sounds crisp 25 years in the game..

Incredible album

I still have PAC slightly over Nas, but Jay is no longer in this conversation (similar to Lebron not being in the Kobe/MJ discussion)

:ehh:

So you just going to make this comparison after Lebron brought 11 guys he found in a dumpster to the NBA finals :francis:

A - it's funny this jay z - nas thing still lives on. they've been ok with each other longer than the beef now, plus it was over 10+ years ago.
B - Production on 4:44 was sick, and Jay always knows to work with great producers (always did).
C - I still agree it's like 8+ years clear that nas > jay, but Not enough people really listen to lyrics anymore so some will have a hard time noticing that

It ain’t been 24hrs since the release and here we go with nas vs jay. 4:44 was a great fukkin album, and after listening to Nasir 3 times, it’s s great album as well. Way to early to rate which is better

Both got classics, both got weak albums, both top 5 DOA.

Just because I think Nas is greater doesn’t take anything away from Jay.

1. Nas
2. Pac
3. Black thought
4. Jay
5. Cube
