East from 1990-1998 was stronger than the West on average. I watched the games by the way.

:wtf: East was weak in the for most of the 90s. Celtics and Pistons were old and beat up in the early 90s and retired. Outside of the Knicks, there was little competition. The West in the early 90s had the Sonics, Suns, Jazz, Blazers, Lakers (til '91) and the Rockets who were fielding competitive teams. The West was way stronger in the early to mid 90s...it should even be up for debate. Late 90s became more balance. East - Bulls, Heat, Knicks, and Pacers. West - Lakers, Rockets, Jazz, and Sonics. Spurs were strong in a couple of years in the mid 90s before '99.

From about 1994-1998 the East was stronger by a good margin, while 1990-1993 it wasn't as big as East's advantage during the time period as described above. But I don't need to be arguing this, so this will be my last retired post in this topic :russ:

someone posted how would the lakers win a game 7 of the finals with pau gasol scoring 0 points and having 5 rebounds... gasol is the 2nd option on the lakers

so i asked what would happen if mia 2nd option had 0 points and 5 rebs

its not difficult to follow but i have to remember the type of peopel im talking to here :yeshrug:

If Bosh in 2013 is on the level as a player as Gasol in 2010, then he wouldn't have had 0 points in Game 7. Miami won whether Chris Bosh played well or not. Thus your point being irrelevant.

the fukk kinda random ass comparison is this?

LeBron's miracle job of carrying Boobie Gibson and Big Z to the Finals are sullied by those on this board because of the "weak" Eastern Conference, even though they beat the Pistons, who were ,at worse, as good as the team Kobe lost to the same season. Relevant.

so would bron win a ring with bosh or gasol as his 2nd option? CAN he win a championship without wade? fact is KOBE won with the equivelant of chris bosh brons 3rd option as his 2nd option... he didnt have a WADE(arguably top 5 SG of all time) type player to save him/

Bosh in Miami is more comparable to Lamar Odom as a Laker. Not Pau Gasol. Nice try though. Of course, 2010 Odom saw his numbers drop because the Lakers got Ron Artest and Bynum played more minutes. We know why Bosh numbers tumbled. Thanks.
