More often than not I tend to take that L.
The night is over and it was a shaky one. NBA was pissed cause stats were wrong for a lil bit in the Charlotte game. We eventually fixed them but the NBA is placing a huge emphasis on the Vegas Summer League now. So any lil anomaly they want to know why and how. And they are not trying to hear that Pat Ewing trolled me so I missed events. 
Well I was like fukkkkkkkk. This was day 1 of a week and a half of basketball. Not the start I was looking for at all. 
That night all of the fellas were going out and what not. . I said nah. . I am going to bed early. . Get a good nights rest for tomorrow. I went back to my room and 
The next day we arrive at the arena. The NBA guy over all the official scoring is here. . Dude named Shawn. I have never met him. . talked to him on the phone a few times. . He is always no nonsense! My boss has a meeting with him and some other NBA Big wigs. .They tell me to stand outside the door. . And they will call for me. .
I am legit sad and worried. .This was my first working event and I fukkED UP!
Will they send me home?
I get called in the office and there are about 5 NBA big wigs, and my boss. . They tell me to sit down. . Shawn looks at me and says. .
Shawn - So . . You were the one on the primary for the CHA game?
Me - Yes.
Shawn - WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED???
Me - I.......I messed up. I was nervous.
( I figured if I said Pat trolled me that would sound like I was ducking the situation. So I was prepared to eat the L )

I thought I was going to have a heart attack. .

More often than not I tend to take that L.
The whole place erupts in laughter. And my other coworkers came from behind the corner. They were all laughing. They knew how serious I thought it was and I truly thought I fukked up everything. So we were all good. .Well Shawn made sure to tell me its ok. . .But we cant have to many mistakes like that again.
We get into setting up and scoring and everything was going good. . Except for two coaches. . Derek Fisher and Ewing. Both of them liked to wander in front of the scoring table. Fish is a lil dude tho. . Ewing is a house. . And he was still trolling me. Sitting on the scoring table and looking back at me.
Standing directly in front of me and yawning and stretching.. etc. . Then playing it up for the crowd and they were loving it. Even the players started getting in on the action until Pat yelled at one dude. But. . .It was all good. I just made due and would have to stand myself and literally look around him. 
In the meanwhile I had a "friend" from Phoenix come to chill with me for a few days. Met her on a cruise ( Groove Cruise ) one year. Lil asian chick. Sexy as fukkk. We hit it off on the cruise and twice she came to Miami and I met her and we had fun. 
Well she came up from AZ and i got her tix and she was sitting behind me. Pat sees me talking to her at halftime and he gives me the eye like . . nikka you done good. 
I was like 
Well the next day he sees her sitting behind me. . And he decides to spark up a chat with her.
