The Girl on the Train

The book was awful so I couldn't imagine this film being any good. I don't know how it got so much hype and Gone Girl comparisons. Wasn't even close.

Flat and dull, lifeless, save for Blunt's performance, and the budget. Book was worth turning pages until you were finished, movie had no sense of realism, or actual emotions, or much mystery, obviously I read the book, and knew who the killer was, but it was even well done or intriguing.

Good movie but after seeing/reading Gone Girl, it didn't seem as novel of a story

Also, I'm not a misogynist like most of the Coli guys, but I thought it was fukked up that the one time a female protagonist is portrayed as being flawed/damaged, it ends up being all explained away as because of a man gaslighting her

well you know men are typically a,problem.
