I really can't picture the book being adapted well to a film...this doesn't look like a very strict following of the book either. I'd expect it in black and white, don't recall that girl talking about something missing and didn't see any reference to the whole memory exchange thing that is central to plot.
Ohhhh snap. Didn't even know they were making this. I read this shyt when I was in the 7th or 8th grade. About 5 years ago I bought it on Amazon just because it was one of my all time favorites. It's been a while since I've read the book....but shouldn't the entire movie be in black and white until they get toward the end?
