I see Hurts problem....he wants to be pretty

Justin Fields was the same way but he learned early. That pretty shyt don't work in the NFL

Being pretty = thinking you have time in the pocket and like you don't have a step on the defender

You can't glide in the NFL. You gotta be a step quicker
Hurts could have ALOT of rushing yards if he just fukkin goes instead of gliding and waiting

I was saying in the Eagles thread that Sirianni, for better or worse, had to unleash Hurts this week and that we were going to find out how good a passer Jalen Hurts is. The Bucs do not let teams run, Brady was going to put up points, and their secondary is beat to shyt. A pass-heavy offense was the correct decision to make, and guys have been open to execute it.

Our problem is the QB. Full stop. A good QB makes this game competitive, our bad QB has missed just about every opportunity to do something.

Hurts doesn't have the arm strength to throw intermediate shyt outside the #'s and doesn't have the arm strength to throw contested passes in the seams. On top of that he doesn't have the patience to wait for any type of developing routes. This nicca is flats/checkdowns or weakass bombs right now.

every week the eagles all-22 comes out and shows people open, i expect more of the same this week
And yet Sirianni always gets the lion's share of the blame. I'm not saying Nick's a good coach by any stretch, but a good QB beats Kansas City (three TDs left on the field :scust:) and would be competitive with Tampa Bay right now. The plays are there.

with deshaun this is likely a playoff team
score prolly tied 14-14 right now or were up by 7 with deshaun

i still think this team has a sirianni problem, but who knows how sirianni would scheme the offense with deshaun at QB. most likely would open the fukk up out of that playbook though. either way he isnt doing hurts much favors.

Haven't seen Hurts play that much since Bama. He was awful in Bama. Is he any better now?

hes better since bama but still a limited QB. his intangibles, leadership and heart are top tier but his mechanics and footwork needs a lot of work as well as him processing the field going through progressions.

I don't know why all of you are surprised with Jalen Hurts. He's always been this guy. It's the reason why Saban chose Tua over him.

Hurts is a guy who won't necessarily lose you a game, but he's not a guy who can go out and win you a game either :patrice:
