There will be a day in this country that white men do not have the power that they wield now. I'm sure I won't be around for that day but boy...SMH that reckoning will be one for the ages.


Tax the scholarships smh...some white folk have absolutely NO shame. Despicable people all around. Been making BILLIONS off these kids for decades. Punishing them for a burger and fry meal. Trap them where they can't get jobs, can't help their families (a lot of them from poor backgrounds), or themselves...but boy, they can dunk or run a ball like no other!! We NEED them because we couldn't get Allstate or Dr. Pepper to give us multi million dollar contracts without em. But they better not try to find any income for themselves...the scholarships are enough!!!

Nothing will change until we start to take things into our OWN hands. Get out of their game and make and play ours. These white men are the scum of the earth, the same ones preaching that "bootstraps" mentality but making money hand over fist using the athleticism of these young (black) men...

Coders who got a scholarship to study computer science can code on the side and not get their scholly taxed.

Artists who get a scholarship to art school can sell their work on the side and not get taxed.

NO ONE was ever getting their scholly taxed before this even though EVERYONE other than athletes was allowed to cash in on their college experience.

I want the kids to make money but I,
have a question. What's to stop a famous college athlete from making their own shirts and apparel? what if they didn't use the team names and all of the other stuff but just had shirts with their names on it?

Lamelo Ball just did this and the NCAA stopped him from playing in college

Now that people like Lamelo and RJ Hampton are skipping college to go play overseas and it's raising their stock to the NBA (and other teams overseas want them BADLY) other kids might take this route instead of NCAA, which Is why they're trying to pay these kids pennies and now trying to tax scholarships, because it beats having these kids leave for not getting compensated.
