i had like 20 grand, paid it off in a couple years

what i'd like to see is just loans given out with no interest, which i think is a pretty reasonable compromise to 'free college'. shyt isn't free, there's just no interest on them. seems doable

Read the article, the issue is that these early applicants are the early adopters. They would have had to start using it within days of it being processed and have to show they spent 10 years meeting the requirements.
