It's called addiction to outrage. It's very easy to ignore trash like this yet we are inundated with these messages, despite us already knowing how they feel, because it is sought out or at the least not ignored. It's exhausting at this point :camby:
Why didn’t you ignore the thread instead of running in here whining about how people don’t ignore people like these?

The Grapevine is a good idea, but from the wrong people. These are the types of people that when someone has a non-Shea butter twitter thought and they can't debate it they kick them off the show. And many of these people are part of that crowd that just started calling themselves black without dry-heaving like in 2015.

They aren't well read on the subjects they discuss and if they are it doesn't show. Much of the show just reminds me of a live action Twitter thread

:hhh: Why do yall continue to watch this stuff then complain.

Its like literally looking for gay porn, watching it, and then making a thread that you hate gay porn and linking said porn so others can watch hoping they agree
:mjlol:

i say the same thing about 90% of what gets posted here

These boule rejects are linked to the same people who control the narratives on publications

it's time to clean house.

this intersectionality wave of blackness has failed and is not working. It has only gotten tangibles for hispanics, white gays and white women

Lol @ people still not realizing (or refusing to acknowledge or accept) why people pull stunts like Jussie did.

Day one of the lie made him the most famous person in America. Of course that fame later turned to infamy but if he wasn't so sloppy he'd be at the forefront of the LGBT movement and racking up television appearances left and right. If the acting thing continued to trail off, he could've started a foundation for hate crime awareness and collected millions.

The lady who accused Kavanaugh, "why would she lie? It took courage to do what she did" then you find out she collected a million in her go fund me.

Cosby accusers, "why would they lie, it was so many of them" then you find out the class action civil suit was being fired up before he was even convicted.

These people have zero understanding of human nature. They have an idealized "good vs evil" narrative driven into their head and reinforced by tv and social media where the groups they support are inherently "good" and anyone who doesn't agree with every single issue they stand for is "evil". No nuances, no in between.

That's why black men keep getting caught in the crossfire. Our natural instincts toward independence, our ability to control our emotions and rationally look at situations, and resistance (not immunity) to peer pressure means we can be anywhere on that "good vs evil" spectrum depending on the issue and we cant be shamed into abandoning our position wholesale.

:salute:
