That is soooo comforting to hear.

I'm about to record my next album in these winter months and am so worried if I get a sore throat or cold.

Imagine preparing an album but being sick while recording vocals. It's like how do you even tell if the vocals are affected?

To hear that Will had a sore throat while recording one of the most feel good hip hop tracks of all time is inspiring!

Even some respectable artists admitted to using ghostwriters, shyt is heart breaking.

That's when Busta confidententally saying he never used Ghostwriters added to his power.

Or when Luda showed up on Bet with graff on his jean outfit that read "real emcee write their own lyrics" or something.

For all the young artists reading this thread please if you care about your writing integrity - don't ever use Ghostwriters.

And there are writers who get paid for this and will push that it's okay.

When I first saw Fresh Prince I literally thought he was the greatest ever as a kid.

And It was more like I knew he rapped but it's like who he was.

I believe you’re supposed to be The Booths resident “old head” or whatever, but you’re not the only old dude here... I grew up just over the bridge from Philly, and still got “Rock The House” on cassette tape... much love and respect to Fresh Prince, but you’re crazy if you don’t think “Summertime” sounds like Rakim... why or however the reason that is.

Was Rakim ghostwriting for people, back then, or at any point? I believe he wrote for Dre, but other than that?
Was there any connection between Ra and Will Smith in this era? Or are these theories all based on “It sounds like Rakim” (Cadence, etc)
