I wasnt much of a fan of his music when he died, but I still remember how shocked I was to hear about it. I was a junior in high school and for some reason decided to turn on the radio Sunday morning, which I never listened to except for late night mix shows and heard Kolby Kolb and a bunch of people on air mad somber and talking about how tragic and violent hip-hop was becoming. I knew they had to be talking about Big before they even said it.
