Damn, I never really even thought about that.

Is there really no historically Ayshun college or university here in the US?

And why are they so pressed to be here? There gotta be decent schools in Asia.
The plan for most of them is to study here and take that knowledge back home.

They dont really care about building anything here.

Asia is useless to a lot of them. You got to keep in mind that a bunch of them have been here for hundreds of years with no connection whatsoever to their countries at home.

For Chinese person who came to America in the 1860s, their original country doesn't even exist anymore. Same could be said for the Vietnamese that came during the Vietnam war. Or Korean that are originally from North Korea. Or even the Japanese who came during the empire of Japan or even during the shogunate of Japan.

Furthermore , due to a lot of the conflicts that occurred between our country and their old country; they were considered traitors. The United States government actively penalized them for having connections to their home countries during the Cold war in the case of China or during world war II in the case of Japan so these Asian-Americans were incentivized to , eliminate such ties.

So @ORDER_66 and @BaileyPark31 For a lot of them America is home. On the West Coast I've encountered a few that don't even know their original language anymore. The return to Asia concept really only works for the first gen or second gen ones whoever recently come here and have a strong network at home. And you do see this a lot with the recent Chinese who have no issue returning or New Koreans.

This is why I'm saying, they have had a lot of time and a lot of incentive to start their own schools. It's embarrassing that they don't have their own equivalent to the HBCU. And specifically for Asians that have been here for hundreds of years, who already have their own networks embedded deeply into law, medicine, education, and the tech sector.

For a group of people so obsessed with math, surely they realize that eliminating the 2% of black people wasn't going to get them in.

These white donors won't keep donating to schools that don't look like them and aren't primarily white, so they'll never allow the Asians to dominate with stats. It boggles me that they haven't built their own institutions. As a group , they have been here since the 1860s yet there is no equivalent to a hbcu or native serving institution for them.

Where is the Chinese, Vietnamese , or Korean booker T? :dahell:
They can just go to their home countries if they want their own universities
