This is undoubtably slanted by the fact that poor people die a lot younger on average than rich people. Not a very surprising stat at all

But it seems obvious why Americans from those times fared better. Ive said it a million times already. No competition. None from Asia or Europe, none from blacks, Mexicans and even women to a large degree. There are a lot more people fighting for the same pot; how else could things have gone?

Compound that with the pot being artifically smaller now and we at where we at.
