Yeah. Every available metric showed that the heat, and lebron in particular, were drastically better without wade playing in the playoffs. Until game 7 against the spurs, lebron was the only member of the team in the top 30 in points per game in the playoffs, and through the first three rounds, he outscored wade and bosh by himself. Wade had more games under 10 points than over 20 until game 5 of the finals.The guy won the east with donyell marshall, drew gooden, and larry hughes in the starting lineup and mike brown as his coach. call me crazy, but i think he could have pulled it off.

I didn't say he had no good games. Fact is, his poor play is why each round went to 7 games. He was terrible against indiana the majority of the series until he had a strong game 7. In the finals, he didn't even try to cover danny green until game 6, letting green shoot some 70% from deep. He went scoreless in the 4th quarter of game 1 and 6 of the finals, and over the course of the entire postseason, he shot 33% on jump shots, with teams entirely ignoring him if he was anywhere near the 3 point line. He had a terrible postseason for the most part. Bosh had a terrible game 7, no doubt, but that was in part by design. He was asked to essentially get abused by duncan so everyone could stay home on the shooters, he only played 28 minutes, spent the whole game in foul trouble, and he only took 5 shots.Big points for the avi and handle though. I totally forgot about kablam and action team now.

I respect you stepping out of character long enough to acknowledge this much. I just wanna know why none of the other bigs in the Lebron system over the last decade, Haslem, Birdman, Big Z, Boozer, Sideshow etc, have been reduced to 3 pt spot up shooters who don't grab boards or manage to put up a fight against opposing bigs. The only guy who has just happens to be the "superstar". Something doesn't add up.
