West Coast got the GOAT weather...
I WFH so stay my ass inside with the AC blasting but like winter, summer is another reason why i want to move back home. 65F back home and 90 here in Chicago

Sitting 6 in from a floor model AC.
Saves me about 10 degrees from the outside temp. But being right in the beam of the AC is pretty comfy. Not sweating
I'm on the 3rd floor and all the heat on this world finds its way up here. Family home built 70 years ago needs MAAAD updates.
Got an electrician coming tomorrow to work on part of the problem but gonna take a few more steps after that.
Shoulda started way earlier but up til now, it's been in the 80s and I was able to get by. But these 90s make it more crucial.

heat index is 107F today! glad im off... i aint going outside for shyt!
I just left work early. A/C up, whole house in darkness, fan going and in the walk out basement.
