People act like the Heat haven't been pushed to the brink in the East in the last two years. People also act like because we have better players that's it's an automatic win but you can ask the Mavs about that.

That shyt has to be earned. Even that sweep of the Bobcats was earned.

I remember that Heat/Knicks series in 99 and the 2011 finals. No such thing as gimmes.

Well, the Mavs had Dirk who no one was stopping in 2011 at all

I mean look at the East, there's no team Miami will lose to, there's no way. The Nets may have swept the regular season and want to play MIA badly but they'll get exposed by the King and he'll dominate them when the time comes.

Pacers are done.

Hawks and Wizards don't stand a chance of going to the NBA Finals :lolbron:

The Heat already are in the Finals, the question is what will be their strategy to taking advantage of this easier road to peaking around the NBA Finals.

There's a beast inside every man that stirs when you put a playoff patch on his jersey.

I don't count out the Hawks, Wizards, and Raptors for anything. As a fan, I'll go into any potential series with respect for those teams. If you're asking me if we should win those series than the answer is yes, but I don't for a second think it's guaranteed, much less sweeping them.

:manny: I respect your analysis breh and being humble, I know the Heat have had heart breaks in the playoffs too but you all will win the East easily...

Nah Lebron knew wade was winning finals mvp so he tanked the series.
Or did Marion/Stevenson just strap him up? :sas1:

i haven't bothered to watch any replays of the 2011 Finals, but the ending of game 2 is still fresh in my mind. blew that big lead with a few minutes left in the 4th. there's no doubt in my mind that if they won that game to go up 2-0 they wouldve won the series.

:comeon: This is the silliest thing I have heard and it's not the first time I have heard it. :snoop:
Think about that for a moment. You are suggesting he didn't want Wade to win MVP, so he tanked the series, thusly costing himself a ring rather than just playing like his normal self and winning the award going away? :what: :dwillhuh: :dahell: This actually makes sense to people? :mindblown: He just went out like broad, period.

You have to understand how Lebron thinks. He would rather lose his way than win someone else's way. Had wade won that finals MVP lebron would've been a champion but people would've said yeah but this and yeah but that. He would have never been able to live it down even if he won the next 2. You see that other people say it because it has merit to it.

In the previous series against my bulls a better defensive team than dallas without homecourt lebron was godly we did whatever he liked. Then all of a sudden agaisnt a worse defensive team he's struggling like that? Something was awry

And your theory is that he chose to play like a broad and lose rather than to beast and win the title and Finals MVP which he would have won had he been his normal beastly self? Winning but having Wade win MVP would have been harder to live down than losing? This makes sense to you? :patrice:

It only makes sense to LeBron, that's what he wanted.

Why couldn't he just play well and get it himself? The NBA doesn't have problems giving him awards he doesn't deserve because they need a face of the league. They gave him last season's Finals MVP when he was trash in all but 2 games. Wade played well in 5 games.
