I don't believe that. I think the Heat had the best players but Dallas had a better collection of talent. They had more money into that squad than any team in the NBA that season and they fit perfectly as well. I felt that was a big part of the reason Dallas won that season.

Look at the roster outside of the Big 3. Started the corpse of Mike Bibby, a center rotation of Dampier-Ilguaskas-Magloire, and no bench scorers. Haslem & Mike Miller who were supposed to be to the 2 key pieces that year were hurt. Now you can easily make an argument that they still should've won the series but Dallas had the better team

People keep saying that coasting shyt, at what point is it no longer coasting and this happens to be the team's character or personality?

That's what pissed me off about 2011. We actually went on a run after the All Star break. Won like 12 of 13 but for the most part, nikkas was chilling that season. And then we get booted by the Mavs.

Good luck with that shyt Heat fans.

Also Heat getting all this undue repsect based on being 2 time champions, but i cant forget how they won l;ast season it matters...it was flukey.
IM not giving them the 2 time champion can coast angle into the finals knowing in reality what happened in 2011 and how Uncle Ray saved an entire legacy for not just Bron but that entire team...

Based on that im not conceiving they unbeatable or have some bs mystique around them that allows them to turn it on and off ,they dont and they unhealthy and the Pacers are better...Ill bet on THAT.

hmmmm :ohhh:

lets see, a decrepit bust pick who missed the last 4 seasons, that can barely play 10 minutes a game should be just the type of force to push the heat over the top.......:heh:

Oh ok, so you were expecting Oden coming off missing the last 4 years to come right in and play 20-25 mins a game, as opposed to strengthening his legs the first 3-4 months of the season and then getting 10 min spurts to build himself up for the playoffs? Cause if I remember before the season you were

:rudy:

last we saw drose, he was doing this:

last time we saw oden, he was doing this:

Now if I had told you before the season Oden was going to play more games than your boy would you have taken that bet?

Even with Wade and Bron at full strength they far from unbeatable...

Pacers with home court are the better team and favorites.

I don't think that "Lebron in 2011 Finals" and "strength" should be used together. :patrice: That team was all about the big 3 scoring 85% of their total points. This team is deeper. Even with Lebron playing how he did and the fact that they were Big 3 or bust they were in position to go up 3-1 in that series. They were honestly a couple bounces shy of a sweep. If they are still depending on Wade at this point then they have lost already. Bosh should be the number 2 option at this point. If he plays how he's been playing lately with Bron doing his thing I don't see how they lose. Let's not forget that last year neither Wade or Bosh played very well in the CF.

4 years off.....yeah I would expect him to play more than 10 minutes a game. and he already missed like the first 35 games of the season. what's he up to? 3 or 4 games so far?

oden's presence on the court will benefit bosh more than anyone. won't have to guard hibbert on defense and can focus on destroying david west on the perimeter on offense

outside of hibbert, who else on the pacers goes off when they play miami? paul george gets held in check, so does lance. west gets his 15 or 16. that's it.

hibbert is the one whose 26 point, 15 rebound games demoralize and wear down the heat

no more of that with big greg in the paint. he's got the length and size to disrupt hibbert and keep him from playing volleyball with himself

a heat frontcourt of oden/bosh/lebron wont give up all the offensive rebounds, size and points in the paint that a bosh/lebron/battier frontcourt do

If they can keep the big 3 and Oden together, they can plug any defensive minded guard at the 1 spot. They really might win another 2-3 'ships brehs. Spurs/Lakers on the decline, Thunder without Westbrook, the Rockets got Coward, Rose is out, is there anybody with a realistic chance of stoppin' the Heat right now?

Heatles coastin. This is elongated training camp. Wade takin weeks off, Bron's minutes at an all time low, reclamation projects abound... And still only 3 games back on Indy who's obviously going hard. :heh:

Same Indy squad @O RLY been hyping up bout 3 or 4 screen names ago. :umad:
