I miss this.Clearly OP didn't watch the late 90s early 00s NBA. Stars shooting 7-24 and games ending in 85-91 scores.
The high PNR has killed the NBA game IMO

I don't see as much movement today as I say in the mid late 90s , more than iso super heavy early 00-10, but that aint saying much.

I honestly am confused by this thread. There is more ball and man movement than ever before. High screen roll doesn't work on every team, because some trap the ball handler. Iso-ball is just unwatchable.

Honestly how much attention are you paying to the game away from the ball? Just because a PnR is being run at the top of the key doesn't mean there isn't movement happening elsewhere

Action away from the ball is what I'm specifically talking about.
Outside of Spurs and Warriors, you rarely see consistant movement off ball during offensive sets, and even the Spurs are sort of shifting to an ISO heavy team now.

There's several teams not running high PnR to death. Warriors and Spurs come to mind.

i got no problems with PNR offense, but the way the refs call the game these days every pick is a moving screen. you got dudes like bogut jus straight mauling and holding dudes to set the screen regularly. shyts become comical
