I got negged for saying this, I'll get negged for it saying it again. Trump and Clinton are two sides of the same cac coin. No way in hell I was voting for either one of them. And though some of you still won't agree with my stance, at least you have a better understanding as to why.

@Dip - It doesn't affect AAs directly. If at all. In terms of solving the problems AAs have in this country It's just more of the same "if you got melanin, I'm gonna fukk you over" tactics that's been going on since the 1300s. The foreign policy of the US in the Diaspora and Africa is affecting the domestic policy of AAs. Unfortunately, too much to the detriment of both.

For those interested go pick up Haiti 101

when pat robertson made the "deal with the devil" comments after the earthquake....several prominent Haitians publicly educated him and others about the role of Africans in st. domingue on american history....and how the revolution inspired the independence movements in latin america

also on Frederick Douglas' impact on Haitian history

Haitian and African Americans have more in common than they know

"Africans in the United States must remember that the slave ships brought no West Indians, no Caribbeans, no Jamaicans or Trinidadians or Barbadians to this hemisphere. The slave ships brought only African people and most of us took the semblance of nationality from the places where slave ships dropped us off."

-John Henrik Clarke

I respect all of the comments in the recent threads about Haiti, Africa and Trump. I also respect and expect people to look out for the interests of their own group. That's natural and it's called survival instinct.

Dr. Clarke's comments ring true though.

they would also know the scams all these "non for profit" and church groups have turned helping the poor Haitians into

or that haitian children are the most sex trafficked population in the western hemisphere and this same trafficking is done under the guise of "helping" the poor Haitians

lemme stop tho
I said this years ago but it was label fake news. It's a reason Haiti been occupied for 13 + years and counting by the U.N multi-nation forces(US proxy occupation) illegally. Its been No War, No civil War but the U.N occupation is under the article of war time (meaning they can kill the people without getting charged). Its not only the longest UN occupation but the most multi Nation military forces on any one nation(the news won't report that)

NGOs and Charities

Its not that NGOs and charities but very rich and power American and Canada politicians (with rich friends) hire people usually trouble individuals to go in Haiti to traffick kids and women (early 20's and under). The traffickers get help in Haiti from agents (Haiti is miliratize down pack from CIA, US soliders, Haitian military, multi-nation Force) thats already on the ground. When somehow these groups get caught (probably because of greed money issue ) , US officials call to get them out(money/ corruption). All type of organizations even when they was doing that "we all the children" for Haiti "earthquake" victims , when its really rich people sneaking money up to the foundation to get stuff down (trafficking, arms sales, American government deals etc). Also alot fish things was happen after the "earthquake" from cacs , France and Israel forces

Pay to Play

So it's basically fake organizations or operations thats funded by rich individuals in North America with politician ( In Haiti case the Clintons with they're fake organization)do the hiring/dirty work. This is not a secret everybody know in Haiti of cacs still kids

Its also fake adoption organizations (its not really adoption but cacs steal your kids without telling you).

They also do organ trafficking. From sources(late last year) .... its been unusual amount of Cubans coming in and out of Haiti boarder with Haitians waking up with pain and cut operations stitches

I literally have no idea what you're talking about or what tangent you're trying to drive the conversation to.

These are the videos that I referred to of Haitians PUBLICLY criticizing and educating the uneducated about what the revolution by Africans in St. Domingue meant for the rest of the Hemisphere. Still had them saved on my page.

Anyway, it was good for those men and others to use the GLOBAL spotlight to educate people about the events of the early 19th century Western Hemisphere and how the Africans in St. Domingue altered history.

It was especially good for young Haitian American kids to hear/see this on national tv, but also the rest of the world. There are, and continue,to be highs and lows, negatives and positives about Haiti .Negatives are openly discussed, and because of isolation or the language barrier the positives are never spoken about.

In fact, public perception and Haiti's inability to shape that (or effort to try) is what ultimately lead to the collapse of the Haitian economy. The last thriving industry, TOURISM, dried up once Haiti and Haitians were stigmatized worldwide with AIDS/ HIV tag.
Haitian govt. did NOTHING at the time to combat this perception and the tourism dollars slowed to a trickle. People were afraid to travel or vacation there and that was the final nail on a poorly run and non diversified economy.
