I cant co sign due to the fact that the Hot Boys run was short. biased aside once the bad blood came into play it tarnished what the Hot Boys started. DITC on the other hand has been crew for 3 decades with no beefing....Also....DITC was a crew with affiliates....I dont see that a good comparison with The Hot Boys.....a good comparison would be more with No Limit. As the total package....Juve cant fukk with Fat Joe. Both Juve and Joe had ressurections in their careers in 04(Lean Back and Slow Motion...both which went #1 on billboard that year) But that was Juves last breath as he has been MIA ever since...Joe went on to atleast make a few more bangers years later. I've also noticed there's all this cheerleading for BG and Juvie but none for Lil Wayne who is the more popular and still currently relevant. Yet....U cant even align him with the original Hot Boys like that in 2014 in contrast to any member of DITC. I believe thats why no one has really bigged him up like that which further gives reason as to why DITC and Hot Boys aren't a good match up. Also...one group has lyricists while the other has rappers.


My conclusion: DITC and Hot Boys are a terrible comparsion for too many reasons.

A DITC album wouldn't have to be a classic to be better than those Juve albums - just better than average.
People usually point to these albums as the DITC classics:
Diamond D - Stunts Blunt and Hip Hop
O.C. - Word...Life
Showbiz and AG - Runaway Slave

One crew was out for respect on the mic, the other was out for primarily the money. You cant compare two different methods of trying to achieve something. I doubt Baby and BG care that they would get destroyed in a head to head with OC and AG.

Its just not something you can even compare.

I'm not from NY though. I'm from CA. They Bay. I just call it like I see it. Old Cash $ was wack compared to Geto Boys, Dungeon Fam, Suave House, UGK. You putting 400 Degrees up there with Mr. Scarface is Back? The Diary? Southernplayalistic?

B.G. had a nice verse on that song with Prodigy. Other than that - I haven't heard anything impressive from him. I made a good faith effort to give these cats a chance despite the fact that I thought they were laughably bad at first. shyt just doesn't impress me. Beats, rhymes whatever :yeshrug:
