how so? losing in the conference finals? e.g., in 2005-06 they had the 3rd best record in the west (54 wins) and made it to the conference finals. the way you all talk about the suns of that era you would think they were dominating the regular season and then getting bounced out early in the playoffs because their style wasn't suited for the playoffs.

Stan wars aside, we're the 2nd best team in the league and have a decent if not respectable shot vs GS.

And given that GS is likely the greatest assembled team of all time, and would likely wash the other 28 teams in 5 or less, Rockets are in as good a position as anyone could hope for.

It's just about maintaining health, which sometimes is just being lucky

GSW has some 2017 cavs issues (obviously to a lesser degree). They are top heavy and Father Time is stealing their bench. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt combined with hardens playoff success still makes them favorites but if they play to potential, there is no way the dubs annhilate them. Barely beat maybe but if they play to potential Houston has a 50% shot to me.
