The HTC M9 Engadget review makes me remember why im back on the iPhone train

I really don't understand how a camera would be a dealmaker

the camera argument on smartphones now a days in the weakest thing to me, and it the last thing iphone stans have to cling on to

I have a galaxy S3, it takes pics JUST FINE as do most modern smart phones . I just got back from a trip to NYC i took pics with my phone, some other people took pics with there iPhones, everybody loaded there pics to FB, instagram etc , you know what? no one commented on my pics talking bout "o man you know what your colors are weak" " whats wrong with your pixels" etc....

If i needed better pic than what ANY smartphone out now provides , you know what i would do ? get a dam DSLR camera or get a point shoot (which i do own)

Then you got the "body" argument which IMO is a dam female argument, again Ill use my S3 as an example which by today standards is a "old" phone, i like everyone else have my phone everywhere with me , have let hundreds of people hold it, take pics with it, etc, not a singleeee time as someone said "man your phone has a ugly body" are there ugly phones out there? yes, but i cant think of the any time in the last few years i saw a smartphone made by any of the major manufactures and i sucked my teeth, rolled my eyes, snapped my neck and said "dam that thing is ugly wouldn't want nobody to see me with it "

If I really cared about a camera and the shots it takes, I'm going to use a top of the line camera and not my phone. Nobody cares about how many megapixels my camera has when I show them a picture. Let's be honest here. As long as that shyt has good enough clarity where people can see what they need to, than the camera has done what it's needed to. All that extra shyt is for the tech enthusiasts, fanboys, and YouTubers to make comparisons with. You're average consumer is gonna take that "great quality shot" from an iPhone and put a shyt instagram filter on it and call it a day like 99% of rest of the smartphone market.

Can you easily obtain videos or mp3 files? Or are you going to hop onto the jailbreaking argument again? Which contradicts your ease of use argument btw. Can you expand storage if needed?

That's your answer...you really don't have much of an argument and have been treading back and forth with the same BS for years. I will consider the camera as an argument, but the truth is that many of these top of the line phones have decent to great cameras...people aren't buying these phones to take professional shots with them. For the most part they all suffice.

To be real....phone storage isnt an issue in 2015 lol.

And for ME.....i dont need to do all that extra shyt on my phone. I got my Mac that i carry with me to school and work.

Android allows you to transfer files to your PC easier, meaning it does it at a higher quality than the iPhone as well.

Phone storage is an issue especially to those of us who travel to some middle of nowhere places.

...not the only reason but one of them. I don't understand why android phones have a hard time making great cameras after all these years. They always have huge amounts of megapixels and bells and whistles but they always seem to have little fukk ups that make them worse than iphone cameras in REAL WORLD use. How the hell HTC manage to make a 20megapixel camera that performs WORSE (allegedly) than the m8? Really? Why am I still seeing lag when he was scrolling through that feed? Why did they add that ugly lip to the already dope design?

Then you got the gs6....they STILL have that ugly ass outdated looking touchwiz software design....are they just hardheaded over there at Samsung? How do they still to this day thinks that design looks good? Do they even care?

Why don't android have more phones dropping with pure android out the box? Boggles my mind. Yea I know u can tinker around and do the usual geek shyt to put pure android on the phones...trying out different kernels and what not but you shouldn't have to do all that and I've honestly grew out of trying out all that shyt to see if it works solid etc. Nowadays I just want my phone to work smoothly without me having to do all this work to get certain things to work smoothly. I fukked with android for a long time but I just don't understand why most of their popular phones have all these issues.

Btw...I still fukk with the nexus line. They just need to make a nexus that actually has a camera and camera interface that's not weaker than iPhones and step their build quality up. I think lollipop needs some more fine tuning as well. It's the little things that matter imo.

Another random peeve....this post that I just typed on my iPhone 6 would've been WAY more frustrating to type out if I was doing it on a android phone. Copy and pasting....inserting smileys, moving the cursor to where you want it, basic editing, etc is all wonky on android at times....for some reason. I used to hate responding on these forums on my gs5 /note 3 because I used to think the frustration wouldn't be worth it lol.

....I already no the droid heads gonna be mad and do the typical "told u he was a iPhone betch" thing but I'm only benig honest....I fukk with what works good at the time. iPhone 5/5s wasn't the deal with them little ass screens and ios 5 and below were missing things but now? shyts dope lol
