After paying council, taxes, jury fees, expert witnesses, Erin Andrews took home around 12 mil. According to Mark Geragos.

I don't know what state Hoegan was tried in but I can see him taking home around 30 mil at most
Yup

If all that racist shyt wouldn't have gotten exposed I'd be happy for him because the fact that Linda ran off with all his bread never sat well with me just as a man..

There are ways to stay a money judgment in Florida pending appeal. But you have to post a bond. And like . . . iunno what surety company is going to guarantee a judgment to the tune of $115 million. So I guess you're right.
I read that the Florida law caps the bond that the losing side has to put up in order to appeal at $50 million.
And there have been reports that Gawker is only worth around $14-15 million now. That $300 million number was from 2009 and was an estimate of how much Gawker could have gone for if it were to be sold.
They can't even afford to put up the capped amount while they appeal this ruling.

Correct, pursuant to section 45.045(1), Florida Statutes (2015).

But the fact that the value of the bond is capped at $50 million doesn't mean they have to put up $50 million. As I understand, a surety company would basically ask for a percentage of the bond amount up front in exchange for the guarantee. So if the bond amount is capped at $50 mil, a surety company that demands 10% of the principal up front would ask for $5 mil. But that's still money that Gawker probably doesn't have. :pachaha:

I posted the article before but I want to highlight these points

Yeah...that likely lost any kind of consideration Gawker had. It was some really arrogant and scumbag Harvey Levine shyt. They thought they had no real chance of losing, so the coke took over. I hate Hogan, and the fact he's turned a Legendary L into a flipside W...but :yeshrug:.

They couldn't come up with any other number. 12? 16? You're in a taped deposition, that you had to know was going to come out in court....:snoop:

That privilege. This is why you sometimes gotta like it. They get to up their own asses, and play/expose themselves faster than most, thinking we all feel it.
