I used to volunteer at the retirement home near my house when i was unemployed. I would go hang out with the residents during activity hour. I would work or puzzles, play bingo, or read the news paper to them. Since my grandad passed I've been thinking of doing it again.
You can't expect most posters here to really act. Talking and doing are two completely different things. Plus folks here are from different walks of life with widely different perspectives and situations.
