Well, as long as we're doing a Yankees confession thread, I always thought Jeter's good looks were overstated, and mostly propped his punch-and-judy hitting ass up to make other fanbases mad. Plus I can't stand A-Rod, so that made it all the more easy. Jeets was the ultimate diva masquerading as a stand-up guy. Ol "Mr. Torre" ass brown-nosing motherfukker. Saw him in that stupid interview with A-Rod the other day, Jeter looks like one of those run-of-the-mill bum loser CACs I went to prep school with, all that partying got his face lookin flabby and sick. And are we still pretending it's the coolest thing in the world his shallow ass married a model, continuing his run of vapid pseudo-celeb arm candy, proving he has no interest in a woman as anything but a commodity to further enhance his "brand?" His father looks like a bus driver and his mother looks like an apricot-colored lump of elephant doodoo. Sister looking like a tranny too. fukk that thin-lipped, ethnically ambiguous, valueless, self-centered dikkhead.

And more than anything, the trades last year scared a lot of the vets straight this year, because they know that if they don't perform, they're guys in AA that will. And for that, I give Cashman full credit for that.

I never had a problem with Brian Cashman.

Except for his hiring of Joe Girardi. Who is a terrible manager and should still be fired.

Yeah the Girardi thing still feels like when Cashman and his crew took over for Gene (and his crew) and immediately won a chip with basically the same team. Girardi takes over after Torre, Yanks spend $ for free agents and then they win in 09. And I don't think Girardi magically made that happen. I think the team/organization was just tired of Torre doing his Phil Jackson impression with big name players.

And here I am happy that his absence has removed that corporate schtick from the team, loosening them up and giving them a sense of personality again.

I got no problems giving props where props is due. But this guy Cashman stayed with the clown shyt for over a decade. We've been yelling for him to build the farm up and develop talent for years, but he neglected it until his hands were tied.
