I’ve never seen Euphoria but if that show is ANYTHING like whats described the Idol to be thats some weird weird shyt.


And the article kind of summarizes whats wrong with big scale Hollywood productions. The Weeknd, a black pop star, and Sam Levinson, a white male writer; hired a white woman auteur with a feminist slant to her work to write and direct a series about a white female pop singer who falls under the spell of a cult leader…

And she did EXACTLY what the fukk she was supposed to do. Focus on the white woman and put a feminist slant on the story. And somehow they got 90% through production and suddenly said “Wait a minute…This white woman is making a show focused on WHITE WOMEN?!?! And she has her OWN AGENCY?!?”

“SCRAP IT AND START OVER! AND BEEF UP THE WEIRD UNNECESSARY AND TOTALLY DEPRAVED SEX!!”


The studio execs are idiots.
