Look man Im not denying Ancient Egypt was a bastion of intellectual growth.
Im saying... it exists in the same canon as the other great civilizations of antiquity.

Because if you're questioning me to debate what I've already written we are wasting each other's time and I don't want to waste my time or yours. I am firm it everything I've stated no matter how outlandish it may seem to you.
I don't care what you believe about historic "facts" because everything stated is relevant in the present moment. If you need clarity on something pertaining to the now, I don't mind addressing you, but let's not go back and forth on issues that aren't conducive to moving forward and innerstanding.
As a Caucasian I can see how this may be unsettling and bruise your perceptions of what you've been conditioned to see. But instead of playing mental tennis with me how about reading again and reflecting some. If it's not important to you, you can always drop it and walk away.

I just got frustrated with this thread and the post felt like wasted effort. I shouldnt have even humored you on this - our perspectives cant be amended whatsoever.
And then I said some shyt that was taken the wrong way... So at this point Im on the defensive
The whole reason Im interested in Nation in the Gods & Earths/5%er philosophy is because its a spin on transcendental eastern philosophy. shyt makes perfect sense given the conditions in America. I have a great respect for it... but at a certain point this is a movement which casts my entire community as "the enemy"...
Im always trying to learn more.. But the conversation we're having isnt informative, or enlightening, and I dont think it could be

Well then you're asking the wrong person anyway because I'm not a 5%er nor do I follow them.
So many different things brother. Education is the key, but it must be multifaceted. It starts at the top as black intellectuals MUST have in hand in producing the literature that teaches our black youth; we must produce interdisciplinary articles and reading for multiple levels and work with educators to translate these reading of racial pride, collectivization, and the evils of racial capitalism for the kindergarten to middle school levels; we must include black journals in the high school classroon: The Journal of African American History, the Black Scholar, Phylon, etc...these journals offer n objective, black agency driven and interdisciplinary perspective: historical, sociological, psychological, etc. to understand historical and contemporary trends of racial oppression. it has to be massive throughout the nation, not just in pockets. public school teachers used to be the biggest readers of black journals and attendees at black conferences, but that has declined. We have to get back to that. if kids get this type of education first and sprinkle it in with the rest of education, we can create a new generation of black youth the is solution driven and can create things themselves; its not easy at all, but it can be done if black intellectuals and other middle class folks get their hands in the black community, deep, and start that;
Also, social activism must be widespread, not pocketed. When a lynching occurs, we ALL must be engaged in social activism, and that comes from teaching our children differently as stated earlier. That's where I think we can begin, but there are other methods that we can do as well
