The inaccuracy of the second half of Straight Outta Compton keeps the movie from being a classic.

When Dre walked in the studio and Pac was recording Hail Mary, I was on some :jbhmm:.

When Dre start snuffing nikkas in the Death Row office, I figure fukk it it's your movie do what u want :manny:.

But when Dre was standing up to Suge (while at the same time backing down...cause really that's what he did. Gave the nikka the whole company, money, and masters) I had to call :duck:.

I don't expect bios to be accurate, but it's hard to separate it when you're a big fan of something and you know a bunch of it is Hollywood junk. Notorious was just a huge puff piece (no pun intended). This was a lot better, but still too watered down and had some :camby:moments when you actually followed the history.

I :mjlol: at the scene when he sees his good friend Pac recording "Hail Mary", then plays "California Love" for him, hears a commotion, comes out and yells at Suge and tells everyone to shut up, goes 88' Tyson on a couple of Pirus, and restores order before storming out.

Also, you could probably count all the lines Ren has on one hand. He had no personality, no characterization other than just being there.

Can't wait for the Jay-Z Biopic where he loses 92 Bricks and lives to tell the story, Guru unleashes the flutes as Hov completely disregards any existence of Jaz-O, Calvin "Klein" Bacote, & Dehaven. He blows up and sells millions of albums rapping on nothing but his own sheer God given talent, knocks out Beanie Sigel in disgust from constantly getting in trouble, never takes any of Biggie's lines, unanimously defeats NaSir Jones in a rap battle because Ether doesn't exist & takes credit for all of Dame Dash's contributions to the success of Roc-a-fella Records (such as signing Kanye to be a rapper & running the business for example) all while portraying Dame as nothing more than a loud mouth, obnoxious, vain, dancing buffoon who could never avoid ruining business relationships by placing his foot in his mouth...............................all while going on to become the greatest rapper and businessman hip hop has ever seen.

Don't forget, Un attacks Jay with a knife, it falls loose, Jay's man stabs Un, but Jay being the loyal friend he is, takes the blame.

:russ: at unleashes the flutes

Alot of stuff...mostly Eazy being broke...gearing up for a reunion before passing out...Dre leaving DR due to fukkery and not Jealousy...Cube not being paid...

Out here on West, it was well known about the fukkery that was going back at death row, the movie just touch on it a little...but that was the main reason he left, plus the wear and tear of snoops murder case just wore him out.

Easy was never broke you got that right, bone thug went platinium on their first album under easy and he was eating off dre.

Word. If this happened in rl. Guarantee Suge would be stomping his ass before he even he leaves that room

shyt dre say say so much as "im leaving" and Suge punching his teeth out and making contact numerous of times with dres jaw with his fist:russ:

Thats because you have no business sense,
Use your brain....

First this is around 96
Tupac multi platinium album
Dogg pound went platinium
The chronic was a classic
Snoop dog's first album was multi platinium
And murder was case
For each plat album the company makes 10 mill
From 91 to 95 death row easily made over 100mill. Easily.
So if the other half of the business your partner wants out and is willing to let you keep publishing, all the artist and royalties and the label
Suge probably rolled out the red carpet for dre to walk out and leave, he made suge a deal no exec would refuse
At this time pac/snoop/Dogg pound are on the roster and Daz was the up comming producer and pac was at his peak, in his mind he probably felt he was better off without dre and could keep the train going. .....

Let's think alittle.

Goodfellas, information wasn't consumed in the public or real time, NWA's story is documented in the public eye in real time. I think the thing here is the majority of the people can call BS, on NWA, you can probably find what 2 to maybe 5 people who can refute Henry's account.

Maybe if this was a normal person, but this is Suge knight, no way did Dre just confront that nikka like it was portrayed in the movie, plus taking into consideration how this flick exaggerated how he handled himself when on the label. Then yeah

2nd part of my comment was just jokes.
