Look like they didn’t penalize none of the conference title losers. But going forward all conferences not created equal the only conferences that deserve byes are Big Ten and SEC. These conference title byes gotta go. Hopefully Big Ten and SEC move forward and get rid of the current system.

Winners
SMU is a clear winner since they made it and everyone said it was bama.

Penn State and Texas are winners, they have the easiest 1st round matchups, then they have the lowest ranked conference champs outside of Clemson.

Losers
Alabama - They're about to play the worse SEC teams now. Saban just confirmed it.

Oregon - How do you have the number 1 overall seed and have by far the hardest path. OSU in the 2nd round and if they win they got texas next.

Next year they're going to change how its done.
It will be seeded 1-12 and conference champs wont automatically make it unless you're seeded in the top 12.
